The Council's
bid for over £1 million worth of capital funding for 10 UK
On-online centres had been successful. Barking Abbey is one of the
lucky ten. The new centres will be a breath of fresh air for people
of all ages, as they will offer formal and informal learning, access
to computers and the internet for those who want to improve their
IT skills or just surf the net.
