80’s heart-throb, Corey Haim, dies from drug overdose.

Corey died at 2.15am in Providence St Joseph Medical Centre, California, before collapsing at his apartment which he shared with his mother. Paramedics spent 20 minutes trying to revive the actor, who fought addiction to crack and prescription pills, before speeding off to hospital.

L.A police claim Haim’s death appeared to be an accidental overdose, but no illicit drugs were found at the scene.

Sources state that the troubled actor, who starred in cult vampires film ‘The Lost Boys’, tried to pay for his addiction by selling his teeth and hair on eBay.  Co-star, Cory Feldman, said, “This is a tragic lost of a wonderful soul who will always be my brother, family and best friend.
