At Barking Abbey School Leisure Centre there is an almost endless variety of activities for which we can cater. Whether you are a sports enthusiast, simply want to get into shape or arrange an event or activity of your own, you will find that there is something for everyone.
Come and see for yourself the excellent facilities we have to offer. And the great thing is that anyone can use them. The centre operates a very low membership scheme, you can simply turn up to the activity of your choice or book your required facility. All the facilities can be booked on a casual basis over the phone up to seven days in advance. |

All members receive discounted rates on casual hire and ‘pay and play’ sessions, plus are kept up to date with all the latest information o what’s happening at the centre.
Our Sports Hall caters for five Badminton courts, four cricket nets, a full sized 5-a-side football pitch, full length Basketball court, full length Netball court and a full length indoor Tennis court.

The Gymnasium/Multi-Activity Hall is an ideal size and many of our aerobics classes, martial arts, karate and gymnastics clubs use this room. There is sufficient space for spectators both inside the room and outside with two-way tinted mirrors.
Our Fitness Suite contains an extensive range of cardio-vascular and resistance training equipment. It is equipped with a water machine and a T.V so customers can take their mind off their stresses and strains while training.
The Aerobics/Dance Studio is superb for our Yoga class, and with mirrors covering one wall, it is the ideal place to perfect a faultless routine.
We also have 6 floodlit Tennis/Netball all-weather courts. So if you fancy yourself as the next Tim Henman, you know where to come to practise.
The Leisure Centre also has a Relaxation Area with Vending Machines, excellent Car Parking facilities and an Equipment Hire option if necessary.
