DANCE PERFORMANCE

1. Ability to control and co-ordinate the body to a high degree when executing movement while successfully combining rhythm, action, spatial and dynamic content. |
2. Ability to express the meaning of the choreography and or the stylistic features of the dance style as a strong dance performer. |
3. A strong communication with the audience appropriate to the dance content. |
4. Sensitivity to the dance accompaniment and a sense of musicality.

1. Ability to respond imaginatively to range of external stimuli.

2. Prepared to improvise freely and confidently in movement. |
3. Ability to select appropriate movement that relates to the dance idea.

4. Has the ability to work positively and collaboratively with others (peers, teachers and dance artists) in a range of relationships relating to the dance idea. |

1. A particular interest in dance demonstrating enthusiasm, confidence, commitment, focus and enjoyment. |
2. A capacity to sustain interest over a long period of time and tendency to return frequently to refine and develop their dance work. |

4. Demonstrate the understanding of the need to train and develop in technical skills to prepare for dance work. |
