BBC News School Report
As part of the Humanities Specialism, and in co-operation with the BBC , selected students take part in planning their own news stories and filming interviews. This preparation leads into an actual “news day” where students simulate what would happen in an actual news day with designated presenters, news readers, sound technicians and camera people. The resulting news programmes will be entered into a nationwide competition and shown on the BBC news web site.
