The School Day

LUNCH-BREAK
A 'Cafeteria' system operates in both Lower and Upper School Dining Halls where there is a wide variety of items available.

Pupils in Years 7 to 10 may either purchase a school lunch or have a packed lunch and must remain on the premises throughout the entire lunch-break. Parents who wish their children to go home for lunch will have an opportunity to request this at the beginning of the school year. Children are not allowed off school premises without written permission from their parents. Year 11 students, to reflect their growing maturity and responsibilities, are allowed off the premises at lunchtime, providing their behaviour is appropriate.

There is a breakfast service from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. This offers a range of cereals, toast and full breakfast.
