THE SIXTH FORM APPLICATION PROCESS
There are 2 different application forms:- 

The green form for all current Barking Abbey Students is due in to Mrs Boom by Friday 29th February 2008.  Barking Abbey Students who apply to the Sixth Form will have a letter either offering a place, a letter of rejection or an interview with the current Pastoral Co-ordinators to discuss possible issues regarding your application.

The yellow application form is for Students applying from other schools (external students). These will be issued on request with the prospectus and a copy is available here. The deadline for applications is Friday 26th April 2008.

Students should download the application form and reference OR request these to be posted (0208 270 6517) When completed students should pass the form to their Head of Year who should complete the reference and post /Fax it to the 6th form office. You will be invited in for an interview once the application form is received, provided it is accompanied by a good reference. Rejection letters may also be sent at this stage.

INDUCTION DAY
The next important stage is the Sixth Form Induction Day held on:

Thursday 26 June 2008 – Barking Abbey year 11 only
Friday 27 June 2008– External students only

Students should meet in the school hall ready for an 8.30 start. The induction day will finish at 2.40pm

This day is only for Students who have been offered places
